THE DETAILS
Terms of use
Effective October 9, 2026 · Version 1.2
These terms describe use of the current TallyClip application. A deployment operator should provide its legal identity, contact information, and any applicable jurisdiction-specific terms before offering a public commercial service.
1. The service
TallyClip extracts bank-statement data, performs consistency checks, supports manual review and correction, and generates downloadable files. This version supports file-based workflows. You are responsible for importing exported files into your own software and confirming that the selected format is compatible with your software version and region.
2. Your documents and account
Upload only documents you have the right to process. Keep your account credentials secure and use workspace invitations to grant access to other people. You retain rights to your uploaded documents; the application processes them to provide the requested conversion and review workflow.
Do not use the service to access another workspace’s data, interfere with its operation, or upload content intended to exploit the application.
3. Review is part of the workflow
Extraction can contain errors, especially with scans, unusual layouts, missing fields, and unreadable pages. Review transactions against the original statement before relying on an export. A matching balance is a consistency check, not a guarantee that every extracted field is correct.
Acknowledging a difference does not change a failed balance check into a successful one. Exports are tied to the reviewed data version. TallyClip does not provide accounting, tax, or financial advice.
4. Account access and page allowances
Registered accounts can view complete statement results. Conversion, edits, and confirmations are subject to the workspace’s current access rules. Formal file exports require a paid subscription.
Only successfully converted pages consume the workspace allowance. Corrections, retries of already-successful pages, and repeat downloads of the same result do not consume additional pages. Team members share the workspace allowance. Unused monthly pages do not roll over.
5. Subscription billing
Prices are in USD. Starter includes 500 pages per month for $29 monthly or $174 annually. Business includes 1,500 pages per month for $49 monthly or $294 annually. Enterprise includes 5,000 pages per month for $89 monthly or $534 annually. Annual billing saves 50% compared with twelve monthly payments.
Annual subscriptions are paid upfront and page allowances are issued monthly. Paid exports unlock after server-side confirmation of payment. Stripe manages checkout, payment methods, and the customer billing portal when billing is configured.
Canceling stops the next renewal and retains access until the end of the paid period. Annual allowances continue monthly through the paid year. Plan and billing-period changes are scheduled for the end of the current paid period. Any refunds and legally required cancellation rights must be handled by the deployed service operator under applicable law.
6. Document retention
Guest documents expire after 24 hours. Registered-account documents and results default to 30 days. Download the files you need within the retention period and retain your original statements. Deleting documents does not cancel your subscription. See the Privacy policy for data handling.
7. Availability and implementation limits
This is a single-host implementation. Availability depends on the application host and any configured authentication or billing services. Uploaded statement quality and target-software compatibility affect results. See Security for the current access and storage boundaries.
8. Changes and questions
The effective date identifies this version of the terms. Material service or billing changes should be disclosed before taking effect. Questions about a deployed instance, billing disputes, or rights under applicable law should be directed to the service operator through its published support channel.
